What they needed
Activewear brand SET opened a new store on South Congress and celebrated with a one-day carnival for about 500 guests. EYESIGHT, an international fashion and luxury event production agency, produced the event. They turned a parking lot at Barton Springs and Riverside into a full carnival, with a Ferris wheel and midway games from Fun Crew USA.
A parking lot has no restrooms, power or water. EYESIGHT needed restrooms that matched a high-end brand event and could run completely on their own. They also needed them gone the same night the event ended.
The trailers we used and why
We brought two 4-Station Community Restroom Trailers. Each one has a men’s room with a private toilet, a urinal and a sink, and a women’s room with two private stalls and a sink. With two trailers side by side, that’s eight stations, which keeps lines moving when 500 people arrive at once.
For a brand that cares about how every part of the night looks and feels, clean, air-conditioned restrooms with real sinks were the right fit instead of a row of porta potties.
Setup and service
We delivered both trailers on June 12, two days before the event, so everything was set up well ahead of time.
The site had no water or power, so we handled both:
- Water: We trucked in 200 gallons of fresh water and transferred it into the trailers’ onboard tanks. It lasted the entire event with no refill needed.
- Power: We brought two generators, one for each trailer, plus gas cans so they could run the full night.
Once the trailers were set up and tested, they ran on their own. No one from our team needed to be on site during the event.
The biggest ask was the loadout. With a full carnival in that lot, tear-down was going to be complicated, so EYESIGHT asked us to remove the trailers the same night. We came back and had both trailers out around midnight, right after the event wrapped and out of the carnival crew’s way.
The result
Both trailers ran through the whole event on our water and generators with no service calls. All 500 tickets sold out, and both trailers were off the lot the same night.
Fun Crew USA wrote a great recap of SET’s Cowboy Carnival with more photos of the event.
