What they needed
A high-volume car dealership in San Marcos has a service department with about 90 technicians working six days a week. The building didn’t have enough staff restrooms for a crew that size, so techs were walking into the showroom and using the customer restrooms. The dealership needed more restroom capacity for the service team, close to where they work.
The trailer we used and why
We set them up with our 9-Station Restroom Trailer. It’s built for job sites with up to 90 workers, which matched the size of their service team.
For a crew like this, a restroom trailer is a big step up from traditional plastic porta potties. Techs get flushing toilets, running water sinks, lighting, and air conditioning and heat. Keeping the crew comfortable matters, especially through a Texas summer in a busy service shop. It also keeps the techs out of the customer restrooms.
Setup and service
We delivered the trailer on July 24, 2026 and placed it by the service bays, so techs have a short walk from their work area. It plugs into the dealership’s power and connects to a water hose hookup, so it runs like a permanent restroom with no generator or water deliveries.
We service the trailer once a week. Each visit includes a full pump-out of the waste tank, deodorizing and a maintenance inspection to catch small issues before they become problems. Because we run our own pump trucks, the service schedule is fully in our control.
This dealership handles janitorial cleaning with its own staff and supplies its own water through the hose hookup. For clients who’d rather not, we also offer janitorial service and water refills as part of the weekly visit.
The result
The trailer has been in place since July 24 and has run smoothly with weekly service. The service team has its own restrooms, and the customer restrooms are back to being for customers.
